Clean your apron with a damp, lukewarm cloth, and use only mild non-detergent soaps for stains. Make sure you patch test it first in an inconspicuous area. Moreover, do not spot clean your apron but clean the entire surface to prevent uneven colouring. Finally, to keep your apron in optimum condition, use a little bit of leather wax very occasionally.
